The end times could be near

Watchers Conference saw children, students, youth and the elderly convene to listen to Bible prophecies that reveal that end Times are near at the UMA upper gardens in Lugogo on November 2. Joseph Kabuleta, founder of Watchman Ministries preached about the end times.

Kabuleta constantly made references to the Bible that justified the theme of the conference, “Become an expert on Bible Prophecy in one day.”

Incident
He cited occurrences such as the Islamic nations plotting to attack Israel which he relates to the bible.

Revelation 9: 1- 12, Kabuleta elaborated how war ships are similar to locusts that are being mentioned in the bible picking similarities to that effect. International news sites such as Gulf News were projected with various occurrences and a map citing Israel’s position and how it is going to be attacked by the other nations.

The anti-Christ
He shares a story about how 5G will change the world which was published on the World Economic Forum in 2018. Kabuleta then talks about how driverless cars, and fast internet have set the pace and in the end tracks everybody thus enables the system of the Anti-Christ. This, he says is because surveillance and monitoring of social media accounts is “a mark of the beast” and warns the audience against falling victim of such a system.

“These days there are shocking things happening,” Kabuleta said.

The congregations nodded and applauded, as he added that Uganda has not yet experienced such signs. He however added that US, India and China are experiencing this.

“And all these means will either lead people to accepting the mark of the beast or take away their means of living,” he elaborated.

A certain woman who was born in China but grew up in America and was an American citizen. Upon returning to China for holidays, she posted a hate message to the girlfriend of her ex-boyfriend.
When she was returing to the US, she was denied entry because of a message she shared on her social media account. She was confined to China; this he then relates to how the anti-Christ will work by limiting people.

Others learnt
Sheila Namboya, a student at Entebbe International High School said the conference was a fantastic experience.

“From now, I have understood that God is alive and the King is coming anytime,” said Namboya.

The preeacher asked the audience whether he had convinced them that we are in the end times and majority seemed to agree but there were murmurs.

He projected a story from a news site titled “Major earthquake would kill 7000, destroy bridges”.
This like many other stories for illustration was related to Revelation 11: 13 showing a similarity especially in using the number ‘7000’ and the preacher asked a rhetoric question.

“Are we leaving in the end times or ...?”

Edmund Ross Kwaya, a marketing and sales executive at Tile Centre Limited noted that from the conference he was enlightened that many things happening today were foretold by prophets in the bible such as Isaiah and in Revelation.

“I have learnt today that the world is in ignorance yet we are close to the End Times,” Kwaya said.

Advice
Kabuleta encouraged everyone in attendance to watch more international events in the media to keep informed and relate it to Bible prophecies. He adds that there is a message God has placed upon him, “in this end time, so many people are going to be trapped in debt and they will be entrapped by the Pharaoh spirit. If you are going to be a servant of no man, avoid getting into debt. If there is something that you cannot do in your means, do not do it because that’s the anti-Christ spirit. They do not want your money, they want you!” he warned.

This, he compares to the story of Joseph and Pharaoh and how he saved Egypt from facing famine. Amidst cheers, applause, Kabuleta announced the end of the Watchers Conference 2019.

Verdict
Perhaps the end times are near! Or maybe not, all that one needs to do is to live a righteous life and read the Word so as to get revelation.

Kabuleta quoted various Bible references and he was well versed with the various events around the world. And yes, one thing is certain; salvation is personal because he was equipped with all this information by reading and studying his Bible.
