18 UPDF Air Force airmen passed out

GULU-President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has passed out 18 airmen of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Air Force.
Mr Museveni said at Gulu Airport in Gulu town, on Tuesday that all feeder roads in Bardege Division, near the airport should be tarmacked.
Mr Museveni asked the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen David Muhoozi to discuss the matter with road companies to ensure that the work is done without delay.
“We are going to improve the airport to international standards so that it can be used by big and international planes,” Mr Museveni said. “In the 1960s this was a very active airbase. The roads around should thus be repaired because we don't need dust here, all these machines here (air force military jets) do not need dust at all.”
