Bobi Wine excites Ugandans in Canada

Ugandans living in Canada turned up in big numbers to receive Kyadondo East MP and presidential hopeful Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine.
In his speech, Mr Kyagulanyi said he is in the struggle to end corruption, land grabbing, murders and political persecution, among other mischiefs in Uganda.

“As a country, we have issues to sort out for a better Uganda. Things like corruption, land grabbing, murders, political persecution should be brought to a stop. I urge you to embrace the forces of change and unite for a better Uganda,” Mr Kyagulanyi said at Toronto Pearson International Airport where he met the Ugandan community in the Diaspora.
Mr Muyomba Muhammad, one of the Ugandans in the diaspora and supporter of People Power movement led by Mr Kyagulanyi also said he was concerned about the high unemployment and crime rate in his home country.

“Murders, massive unemployment, misuse of the country resources, poor health care system, and poor education are some of the issues we (Ugandans in diaspora) are concerned about,” he said.
Mr Kyagulanyi’s brother Eddie Yawe lauded Ugandans living in Canada for leading the free Bobi Wine campaign after he was arrested and tortured by security operatives during the Arua by-lection.
Mr Kyagulanyi also said he was indebted to the Toronto community for standing with him during the arrest and pressurizing government to stand with him.
