Former motor rally champion Charles Muhangi has died, Vincent Ssekate the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) spokesperson has confirmed. Ssekate says that Muhangi was found dead at his home in Buziga and that CID detectives have been dispatched to his home to investigate what could have happened.

But Mr Matovu and Mr Lubega insist they legally own the land on which they have had developments for more than 13 years now

Businessmen Mansur Matovu, alias Young, and Mr Drake Lubega said they were saving their buildings from being taken over “illegally” by Muhangi, who they said had already forced them out of Qualicel Bus Terminal, Qualicel building and Nabukera Plaza.
Mr Muhangi claimed ownership of the 0.518 hectare of the land on which Qualicel Bus Terminal, Qualicel building and Nabukera Plaza. He also insisted that he legally owned the land on which the buildings sat and advised both Mr Matovu and Mr Lubega to cooperate and vacate peacefully since he had defeated them in court.

The deputy presidential press secretary, Ms Lindah Nabusayi, confirmed the President’s meeting with Mr Charles Muhangi, Mr Drake Lubega and Hajj Mansour Matovu, alias Young, at State House

on November 13th at State House to try and resolve the standing dispute.
