Court tasks Chinese national and Ugandan who fought to reconcile

Buganda Chief Magistrate's Court has tasked a Chinese national and a Ugandan charged with assaulting each other from Golden Tripod Casino at Grand Imperial Hotel, to reconcile.
The duo Ms Yaya Wang a shift manager at Golden Tripod Casino and Mr Yasin Lwanga a former manager at the same place, respectively appeared before magistrate Esther Nahirya, and she independently read to them charges of assault. They both denied the accusations.
Upon denying the charges, the accused persons through their lawyers intimated to court that they need to apply for bail.
However, before the magistrate could entertain their bail application, she advised them to reconcile since each was accusing the other of the same offence.
While guiding the duo, magistrate Nahirya held that: “These are matters that do not need to stay in court for even a day. You should both learn to forgive and reconcile and the next mention date November 4, you should show up with good news.”
She bonded each of the accused at Shs1m non cash, as well as their sureties.
