The Judiciary has transferred court registrars in the latest mini reshuffle.Explaining the reasons for the movements, Judiciary’s senior communications officer, Mr Solomon Muyita, yesterday, said both the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal have busy registries so they needed full registrars for back up.

According to the transfer memo effected by Chief Registrar Esta Nambayo, the affected registrars are: Mr Mugabo who was moved to the Supreme Court from Commercial Court/Mediation section; Mr Isah Serunkuma to Court of Appeal from Magistrates’ Affairs and Data Management.
Others are, Elias Kisawuzi, formerly at Executions & Bailiffs Division, now moved to Mediation; Ms Susan Abinyo, the deputy registrar at Judiciary Projects & Office of the Chief Registrar has been transferred to Magistrates Affairs. She was replaced by Mr Ayebare Tumwebaze.
