Missing Kitgum money lender found dead
Sam Ading, a moneylender who went missing in Kitgum Municipality has been found dead.
His body was recovered on Friday evening from Pager River in Pager Division.
The 20-year-old was working with Kabara Instant Loan Enterprise in Kitgum Municipality and hails from Alebtong District.
The Aswa River Region Police Spokesperson, Jimmy Patrick Okema says the deceased was last seen on Independence Day at around 7.25 pm from his residence in East Ward B in Pandwong Division.
He noted that Ading’s friends reported his disappearance on Friday but by evening, police found his lifeless body in the river after a search.
Police preliminary reports indicate the deceased could have been hit on his nose with a blunt object before being dumped in the river by his assailants.
Okema says that police are conducting investigations to find the people behind his death.
