More offers come-in for Suubi after metallic case incident

Mr Suubi Henry Kiyimba, the Makerere student who appeared in a picture carrying a metallic suitcase to the university, attracting ridicule and mockery from other students has received yet another massive offer.

Suubi who is pursuing a Bachelor Degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering, has been offered all meals, bedding among other commodities for the period at MUK, from the UK based company, T.Cribbs and Sons funeral directors association in partnership with Rap and Sons. This is in addition to other offers he has received from other individuals and organizations to help him study his dream course at the East Africa’s oldest university.

Mr Suubi acknowledged receipt of the commodities on Sunday from Ms Pauline Najjuma, the CEO of Rap and Sons and signed an agreement with the company that provides professional repatriation service in UK for all the Ugandans who die from abroad.

“I am happy to have received offers and I know that it has been by God’s mercy that I have received them. I will continue to work hard not to disappoint all these people who have been there for me,” he said.

“I am working hard because already people have come in to help because I come from a humble background. I will concentrate and that puts me on pressure,” he added.

Rap and Sons Company Ltd, was found by Ms Najjuma to bridge the gap between insurance providers and funeral directors in UK and overseas.

“We have come to Suubi's rescue to provide him with a 6 inch dream mattress and beddings. He will also have all the meals served by a preferred service provider for the entire time he will be at the university,” Ms Najjuma said.
