MPIGI- Mpigi Town Council in Mpigi district has unanimously resolved to name a road after the late Muhammad Kirumira, the former Buyende District Police commander, to appreciate his contribution to the country.
During a Thursday council meeting, Mr Richard Ssenoga, the Mpigi town mayor proposed a motion to name the 2.5 kilometre Mpambire - Mpanga Road after the police officer who was assassinated on September 8.
"The motion was seconded by Mr Charles Kaggwa, the Mpambire Ward councillor.
