One dead, scores injured in Oyam bus accident
OYAM- At least one person has been confirmed dead in a Saturday bus accident in Oyam District.
Oyam District Resident Commissioner, Ms Gillian Akullu told Daily Monitor that one person died instantly after the bus, Reg. No. UAX848T, heading to Lira from Kampala got involved in an accident at Alidi, Loro Sub-county.

“I cannot tell what exactly caused the accident although but police have gone to the scene,” she said.
Ms Akullu said four people who were seriously injured have been taken to Atapara Hospital in Oyam District.
She identified the deceased as Musolini Gadffai, a resident of Mityana District.
