One dead, two injured in Kyenjojo car crash

KYENJOJO:

An unidentified man of Indian descent has died in a car crash this evening at Mukonda on Kisenyi-Kigoyera road in Kyenjojo District when the driver of the car he was traveling in lost control before it overturned several times.

Two other occupants of the car registration number UBB 151 B were rushed to Kirinda private hospital in Mwenge north constituency in critical condition.
Eye witnesses Ms Nanyonyi Balijura and Ms Brenda Kobusinge said the driver seemed surprised by the fact that it was a sharp corner.
Kobusinge said, “It seems the driver is new to this road and it’s like he was surprised to learn that it was a corner. Even our roads are also in a very bad state and can easily cause accidents especially in rainy seasons.”
By press time, police had arrived at the scene.
