JINJA- Opposition politicians from Busoga Sub-region have given former Vice President, Dr Specioza Wandira Kazibwe, 48 hours to apologize to Ugandans for snubbing Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi during Bishop Cyprian Bamwoze’s burial in Jinja District on Sunday.
Speaking in Jinja on Tuesday ahead of the Busoga region Democratic Party (DP)-Uganda Young Democrats (UYD) reunion today (Wednesday), the DP President General Press Secretary, Mr Fred Mwesigwa, said they have given Dr Kazibwe two days to apologize lest, “We work on her politically.”

“As Opposition in Busoga, we apologize for the indiscipline Dr Kazibwe exhibited towards visitors, including Bobi Wine, who came to attend the Bishop’s burial. In Busoga culture, it is not a crime to attend the burial of someone you didn’t visit when he was still alive. She should apologize,’’ Mr Mwesigwa said.

Mr Moses Bigirwa, the People Power coordinator, said it was unfortunate for such a statement to be made by Dr Kazibwe.
