Kampala Metropolitan Spokesperson Patrick Onyango on Tuesday released a statement on the death of Minister Ronald Kibuule’s twins.
Mr Onyango explained that they had arrested four domestic workers to help police in investigations.
The suspects include house maids, shamba boy and a security guard .
“The suspects are being held under Section 227 of Penal Code Act, the charge being Rush and Neglect Act,” Mr Onyango said in a statement.
The suspects were arrested by a team of detectives led by DPC Mukono who went to the scene on Monday evening and afterwards opened a General Inquiry File.
It was this team that retrieved the bodies from the swimming pool and took them to the City mortuary for postmortem.
Other sources told Daily Monitor that at a later date, the minister and his wife will be asked to record a statement on the same matter. Police investigations are still on-going. The burial of the ministers twins is planned for Wednesday.
