Senior six exams kick off today

Senior six candidates across the country start writing their Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations today.

This is the last batch of national examinations to be taken by candidates at various levels this year.

According to the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) Executive Secretary Daniel Odongo, 104,000 students have been registered to sit for the exams from 1,900 centers.

He says that the board has recruited over 800 scouts to monitor exams and ensure a smooth exercise.

The distribution of exams started on Saturday and all school heads are expected to pick papers for their candidates from the storage centers this morning.

The candidates start with History and Mathematics. The exercise will be climaxed with Fine Art on December 2, 2019.

We wish them success!
