Three fishermen arrested over death of 14-year-old boy in Rwampara

Police in Rwampara District are holding three fishermen for allegedly killing a 14-year-old boy accusing him of stealing mad fish from their traps.

After killing Alex Turyasiima, the suspects; Ambrose Ahimbisbwe, Osbert Natumanya and Ivan Tushabe allegedly hanged his body on a tree to cover up their offence and confuse investigators, according to Rwizi region police spokesperson, Mr Samson Kasasira.
Meanwhile, police in Kazo District are hunting for one Jonathan Magara, a resident of Rwobuhura Village Kanoni Sub County for allegedly killing one Ephraim Muzahura,7, a resident of Kashongi Sub County Kiruhura district.

It is alleged that on October 16, Muzahura left home with Magara at about 10am but never returned. His body was found hours later at Rwemikoma trading center.
‘’On October 16, 2019, Muzahura was discovered dead at Rwemikoma trading center, Kazo Sub County after leaving home with one Magara. The body was decapitated’’ Mr Kasasira said.
He added ‘’ the suspect is still on the run but police are continuing with investigation and hunting for him. The body was taken to Kazo health center IV for postmortem.’’
