Two mutilated bodies found in Kitagwenda forest, police yet to identify victims

Police in Kitagwenda District are investigating a murder case after two bodies of unidentified male and female persons without heads were recover in a forest.
The Rwenzori West police spokesperson, Ms Lydia Tumushabe said Tuesday that the bodies of the victims in their 30s were discovered on Monday in Kikoyo Forest at Kacwampare market along Kabujogera -Kitagwenda road.
Ms Tumushabe said they were hunting for the assailants and appealed to the public to volunteer whatever information to help with investigations.
By the time of filing this story, residents, police and other district leaders were still searching for the victim’s heads.
Last week, Ntoroko NRM chairman, Vincent Mugume and a bodaboda rider were also murdered by unknown people in Tooro Semliki game reserve in Ntoroko District.
