A Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) soldier attached to 3rd Division Headquarters in Moroto District has been arrested on allegations of hacking his wife.

Corporal Adrionzi married Aera after her first husband, Lokiru Emmanuel Fericho, also a UPDF soldier died in an accident two years ago.
Neighbours said that on Thursday, the couple acquired a loan from a financial institution and went to a drinking joint in Moroto town.
Their neighbour Private Mangusho Bernard said they were surprised to find Aeya lying in a pool of blood on Friday.
“They have been living peacefully. I didn't hear anything last night. It was until this morning that I saw people gathered at his home. When I moved closer to inquire, I was told Aera was found lying in a pool of blood,” Private Mangusho said on Friday.
Aera is currently admitted to Moroto Regional Referral Hospital.
Telesphor Turyamumanya, the 3rd Division Army Spokesperson the soldier will face the law in accordance with the UPDF Act of 2005 and other laws.
