TORORO. For years, the National Cross-Country Championships had Moses Kipsiro as the poster boy until Joshua Cheptegei took over in 2017.
Now there seems to be sudden change of guard with teenager Jacob Kiplimo taking over.
Kiplimo produced a stellar finish to beat Cheptegei and claim the senior men’s 10km title in 28 minutes and 56 seconds with the famous Tororo Rock in his back.
