KAMPALA- The fixture list in this Tusker Lite sponsored National Basketball League has not done Sharing Youth any favours.
The Nsambya-based side are in the middle of a difficult run of fixtures in which they have two play in succession, the six teams that should top the regular season standings at the end of the season.

Having already suffered heavy defeats to Betway Power, City Oilers and KIU Titans they play a Warriors side this evening at YMCA looking for a first win in five games.

That task though appears even more daunting against a Warriors side that will be eager to bounce back after losing their unbeaten start in a 62-60 defeat to UCU Canons on Saturday.

Despite the setback, the 2012 and 2009 champions remain with an impressive 6-1 start to the season that included impressive victories over the Oilers and Power.

Coach Ronnie Mutebi will now be seeking to avoid another defeat having cited complacency in the loss to UCU. “We kind of took the game for granted and did not prepare well. But we needed such a wake-up call,” Mutebi said of the result.

Sharing on the other hand have made a 2-5 start and will look to former Warriors player Caesar Kizito for what would be one of the biggest upsets this regular season. The forward is averaging 20 points this season. The earlier game between KCCA and Kampala University also involves two struggling teams with 2-5 and 2-6 records thus far.
