BOSTON. Michael Jordan, who is regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time once said: “I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career.

I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”

The American who played 15 seasons in the NBA, winning six rings with Chicago Bulls was considered instrumental in popularizing NBA around the world in the 1980s and 1990s. Although Jordan’s trade was far from boxing, his words of encouragement spread across several sports disciplines. They are even more effective to sportsmen whose records are gnarly.

This will be Kakembo’s second visit to Florida where he claims he has generated a huge fan base.
“Florida feels like my second home. My first fight here ended in a loss but I received lots of compliments from the fans. A lot of people have been coming to my hotel room ever since they knew that I have returned. They are all rooting for me,” he said.
