Blick Jr, Lwakataka to race in buggies at MX 4th round

KAMPALA. The Mountain Dew National Motocross Championship returns to Victoria Race Track at Garuga this weekend with a host of riders seeking to entrench their hold on various classes.

Maxime Van Pee and the Orland siblings Aviv, Stav and Alon have already the set the tone in the season having been dominant in the third round held on Easter Weekend in Busiika last month.

They are expected to encounter few challenges in their quest for national glory given their superiority on the track and mastery of their machines.

To spice up the day, the organisers have added a contest among the Buggies for the tens of thousands who will be in attendance.
The three rounds of the MX races will be held first before the buggies are let fly.

Arthur Blick Jr and Ponsiano Lwakataka, both former National Rally Champions, have confirmed participation in the Buggies competition.
Aleistar Blick and Ali Omar Jr, two names most known with MX, will also take part in the Buggies duel.

According to Blick Jr, the new development will stand motorsport in good stead. Buggy racing is now going to run as a solo motorsport event in the country.
