KAMPALA. Over 40 drivers will converge at Uganda Sports Arena Busiika today for fundraising ‘Kiggwa Kw’olwo’ Sprint. All the proceeds will for fellow driver Ponsiano ‘Mafu Mafu’ Lwakataka to acquire a Subaru N12B for next season.

At the same venue, the riders will be participating in the Mountain Dew Grand Finale MX Championship. At stake are titles in 65cc, 85cc, 125cc, and MX2 which are yet to be decided. Arthur Blick JR and Gift Ssebuguzi wrapped up titles in MX1 and MX50 senior respectively.

The ‘Kiggwa Kw’olwo’ Sprint has some mouth-watering duels, Jas Mangat vs Ronald Ssebuguzi in the battle of Evo X, Ponsi Lwakataka vs Tufail Amin, the Tanzania version of ‘Mafu Mafu’, Lwakataka will also take on Arthur Blick Jr, Umar Mayanja vs Rauf Adam, Musa Kabega vs Jonas Kansime and 2018 NRC champion Susan Muwonge vs Kephar Walubi. Kenyan driver Sammy Nyorri will also take on Ismail Ortega in the battle of Toyota RX.

Meanwhile, Robert Kasaana and Shafik Ssemujju each has staked Sh1m in a winners takes all race.
