Kampala. Uganda started their defence of the FIM Africa Central Africa Motocross Challenge with a thumping win over neighbours Kenya yesterday at Busiika.

After winning all classes, bar for the MX2 which Kenyan captain Roulf Kihara took from challengers Ismail Mukiibi and Michael Ntairo, Uganda amassed an unassailable 1395 points with the visitors managing 252.

The fans were however left amazed by the Orland brothers of Stav and Aviv in the 85cc to then delight of captain Maxime van Pee.

“I am so impressed with the youngsters. We are going to build on this ahead of the return leg in December,” said van Pee.
