Kampala. Super Lady Susan Muwonge must be relishing this year, and how great it has been to her side as far as her career in motorsport is concerned.

Just last month, Muwonge walked the talk and won her second National Rally Championship since 2007 after she defeated all the men drivers; Walubi, Hassan Alwi, Godfrey Lubega, and Fred Busulwa. She soothingly used only 1.58.14.2 hours to move home with a gong in the race held in Mbale.

To this, Muwonge made her name lively to join motorsport legends Moses Lumala (1999, 2003) and Ponsiano Lwakataka (2005, 2007) who have all won two national titles.

But her victories did not end in Mbale. In a well attended Uganda Sports Press Association (Uspa) assembly yesterday, Muwonge again won the November Uspa sports personality award by beating Uganda Cranes, Eva Magala and Kirabo Namutebi.

“Her efforts and victories cannot pass us by. Muwonge (Super Lady) had a tight competition those who went in Mbale can testify but she managed to emerge victorious,” clad in a sky blue suit, smiling ear-to-ear remarked Uspa president Patrick Kanyomozi.
