KAMPALA. Last year’s Fufa Drum tourney finalists West Nile will be seeking for vengeance and points when they visit unbeaten group C table leaders Acholi at Pece Stadium today.
Last month, coach Umar Abdallah Loi’s Acholi, that had lost 2-i to Bunyoro on opening weekend, were humiliated 2-0 at home by a ruthless Acholi at the Green Light Stadium in Arua.
Vipers out-of-favour forward Tito Okello put the visitors ahead on 44 minutes before URA midfielder Hudu Mulikyui grabbed the second 10 minutes into the second half.

The defeat meant that West Nile remained with three points and are now second from bottom after three matches. They have only managed to overcome Karamoja 1-0 but remain the underdogs against a resolute Acholi side that have made Pece Stadium a fortress of late.
Acholi, that has won all three of their first three games will look to seal the quarterfinal slot this afternoon with maximum points.
In the other group C game, Bunyoro that drew 1-1 with Karamoja at the Boma Grounds in Hoima have a chance to close in on leaders Acholi if they can accrue an away win in Moroto.
Bunyoro are now second in the group with four points will Karamoja are still bottom having gathered only a one point from their first three games.

In group D, leaders Bukedi can scamper away from the chasing pack with victory today over second placed Bugisu when they square off this afternoon in Mbale.
Two points separate Bukedi and Bugisu after three matches but with the limited challenge from bottom sides Teso and Kigezi, it promises to be a two horse race.
Bukedi, ejected at the semifinal stage last campaign byinaugural winners Buganda, will rely on KCCA starlet Julius Poloto and SC Villa midfielder David Owori for salvation.
