KAMPALA. Bright Stars coach Fred Kajoba admits it’s a relief to have his captain and attacker Nelson Senkatuka back for the Stanbic Uganda Cup final after their leading talisman was allowed to break off from the Cranes camp.
Senkatuka, who is part of the team that will play in the invitational Cosafa Cup, has been granted permission alongside Proline duo of striker Bright Anukani and defender Mustapha Mujuzi to share their teams’ glory.

Although they will join their respective squads on Friday, Kajoba is happy to have his skipper back.
“It is a boost to our preparations,” he said. “Although I will join the team late, I trust coach Kiwanuka (Henry, his deputy) has been preparing the team well and I will only come to polish the finer details,” he said.

Bright Stars’ game plan
Fred Kajoba hinted on antagonising Proline’s free flowing football to give themselves a chance to the title. Proline excited fans when they dominated Wakiso Giants in the Fufa Big League final with skipper Noordin Bunjo and Anukani earning the plaudits.
The team’s philosophy is built around attack yet Kajoba thinks it would be suicidal to allow them play their game.
“We know how good they are and we shall plan on how to stop them before we can beat them,” Kajoba, a gold medal winner of the trophy in 2011 with Simba.
“I am a winner and winning such trophies you need luck,” he said.

Bisaso calm
Proline coach Shafiq Bisaso has already bagged a trophy this season and thoughts of a double inspire him to go for gold on Saturday.
“We shall play our usual way obviously looking for a goal,” Bisaso said.
The winner of the knockout tournament will represent Uganda in the Caf Confederation Cup next season.
