Kampala. Ivan Kiweewa aka Kaloolo scored his third goal to earn Wakiso Giants a 1-1 draw against Kyetume at the Nakisunga Ssaza grounds on Sunday as both sides remained unbeaten.

Kiweewa sent Kyetume’s goal keeper the wrong way from the penalty spot after Isaac Ntege was brought down inside the area.
Faisam Malangu had given Alex Isabirye’s side the lead towards the end of the first half when he capitalised on poor defending to slot the ball in an empty net after 39 minutes.

Kyetume applied a lot of pressure thereafter with skipper Ali Feni’s shot parried away for a corner. Ali Magomu also missed from close range.
The visitors exerted more pressure in the second half and were rewarded with a penalty 13 minutes after restart as Kiweewa, who was at SC Villa, scored his third goal of the campaign in the second-tier league.

The win keeps Wakiso Giants in the second place with Kyetume on 9 points after five games. Light SS leads the Elgon Group with 10 points.
