Kampala. Having solely invested millions of shillings in Vipers Caf venture this campaign, club president Lawrence Mulindwa has urged the boys not to lose optimism at the critical moment.
Mulindwa was assertive in his last pep talk to the players before they flew out on Friday to Tunisia for the return leg with four-time winners CS Sfaxien tonight.
“During the first leg, you displayed a beautiful brand of football which had all the ingredients but you missed out on goals (it ended 0-0 at St Mary’s Stadium).

“It was entertaining, offensive and had everything you could expect from a good team. I urge you to build on that performance going forward,” he advised. Mulindwa cautioned against complacency; “respect the Tunisians because they will be at home but don’t dare fear them, it will be 11 against 11 with neutral referees therefore seize the opportunity to leave an indelible mark in the club history.”

“The club administration is proud of your good works irrespective of any result that you will bring from Sfaxien. Don’t lose hope, just remain focused for further assignments.
