KAMPALA. URA have conceded one goal in their opening nine games of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
They have however now gone 450 minutes without scoring at the other end too with yesterday’s result at Namboole against Tooro being their fifth straight goalless draw.
The sequence led to URA coach Sam Ssimbwa referring to his team as dogs that cannot be milked.

“You cannot milk a dog,” Ssimbwa said of the sequence in which his side has also missed two penalties.
He was also of the view that his side should have been awarded another yesterday after Joackiam Ojera appeared to be brought down in the box. “There have been drawn games where we blame ourselves but there are others instigated by referees.
Today was one of those games. We were denied a penalty like was the case against Villa,” he fumed.

The result moved them one place to eighth position on 13 points after nine games while Tooro remained 12th on seven points. There were also no goals scored in Ndejje with the home side now out of the bottom three after their game against Kirinya-Jinja.
The latter are meanwhile 10th with 11 points after nine games on the 16-team log.
