Kampala. Big League side Wakiso Giants offered school fees to a young fan who showed support to the team inscribing the club’s message on his bare body. The team told the boy that they were “proud of him.”
Shafiq Nabeta, was handed over the Shs1m dummy cheque on Thursday by artiste Jose Chameleone before the team played out a goalless draw against Doves All Stars at Bugembe Stadium. Nabeta, a Primary Five pupil of Mbogo Primary School Musiita, is a budding footballer, who is trying out his luck with Eastern Talents Soccer Academy.

“We can all contribute in any possible way but football can never be football without ardent fans. We are proud of you Shafiq,” Chameleone said. Nabeta was accompanied by his mother Fatuma Nambi to pick the accolade.
Nabeta was spotted at the game against Nebbi Central which they won 2-0 at Bugembe.
