KAMPALA. As they pursue a place in the Uganda Premier League next season, Wakiso Giants and Proline continued to show there’s more than one way to skin a cat.
Wakiso assembled a star studded squad that just seems to know how to get the required result as they played out a goalless draw against nearest challengers Kyetume in Bugembe yesterday.
The result helped the Ibrahim Kirya and Andy Lule-coached side remain unbeaten and maintained a six point cushion at the top of the Elgon Group against their opponents with five games left to play.
In the Rwenzori Group, Proline have gone for an entertaining approach in their bid to make a quick return to the topflight league.
That was again evidenced yesterday at Lugogo as the rampant Shafik Bisaso-coached side run out 5-0 winners against Kira United at the StarTimes Stadium.
A first half brace from Hakim Kiwanuka gave Proline a 2-0 lead including a penalty before Noordin Bunjo finished calmly for the third.

Anukani foul
This was after referee Shamira Nabadda played the advantage after Birght Anukani was fouled in the box.
The latter who scored in a regional tour game for the Cranes last over the weekend then connected with Kiwanuka’s pass for the fourth before Ivan Bogere added the fifth deep into the second half.
The result moved Proline to 30 point , four ahead of Kiboga who have a tricky game away to Kitara tomorrow.
