Not all women are interested in marriage

Is marriage the ultimate goal for every human being alive? Some one might thinkthe answer to that question is yes but that is not true Some men think that every female above 18-years of age without a ring on her finger is looking for someone to get married to.

Yes, there are those who are but some are just not interested or are simply not ready for that type of commitment.

Last week, a friend was asked why she turned down the marriage proposal.

“I thought relationships are meant to end up in marriage.” her brother mentioned.

“Yes but that doesn’t mean that every relationship should end in marriage,” she replied as she rolled her eyes.

Sandra is in what you would consider a marriage age, my sisters who have hit the third decade know what that means but no, her priorities are more than walking down the aisle and making vows she doesn’t even mean.

Her career is picking up, and she is fighting to find balance with her life, how tiresome would it be if she added the role of a wife before she put sher life in order? Her parents gave up on pushing her and they are silently praying that she gets on board before its too late and she does hope so too but that is not on her do-to list right now.

Very many people assume that marriage is on everybody’s list of aspirations but that is not the case. When you take time to listen to reasons why some people are still single, you can be amazed.

We all have different paths in life and I have always believed that married or unmarried, on judgment day, we will all answer to God according to our deeds and not our marital status. So yes, do not lose your head chasing that ring, it will come to you by the right person and at the right time.

Live life freely and enjoy each day as it comes because who knows what tomorrow will bring.
