Fun as Hope Boarding SS showcase talent

Students of Hope Boarding Secondary School (HBSS) in Lutembe, showcased their talents during their inter-house competitions organised under the theme: “What went wrong”. It addressed the ills of society.
The music, dance and drama competitions comprised six items; folk song, Western creative (contemporary dance), play, poem, folk dance and mimes that addressed the ills in society. The four houses that participated included; Muteesa, Kenyatta, Nyerere, and Lumumba.

The tight race was between two giants; Muteesa and Kenyatta where several best performers were selected.
Kenyatta house eventually emerged the best with 459 points, followed by Muteesa with 453. Nyerere in the third position scored 440 points and Lumumba had only 430 points.
The winning house was awarded a trophy and a bull. The house patron, Mr Lawrence Kasule, revealed that it was through hard work, teamwork, creativity and determination that they managed to lead.
While giving his remarks, Eldad Beyamba Buzaare, the District Inspector of Schools in Wakiso, urged students to maintain disciplined as well work hard for a better future.
