Museums bill report
Parliament of Uganda earlier this month passed the Museums and Monuments bill 2022 with amendments. This bill aims to strengthen the administrative frameworks for the efficient management of the cultural and natural heritage subsector.
The piece of legislation however drew mixed reactions, during its formulation and after its passing.
