Sexism and domestic violence

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the East African Community States reported a 48% increase in gender-based violence. In Uganda alone, 1 in every 3 women is a victim of physical and or sexual domestic violence at least once in their lifetime. In this week’s episode, we discuss how at the heart of this injustice is the sordid belief that women are somehow inferior to men.
