Pivot East app contest partners with NMG for wider reach

A regional mobile app pitching contest, Pivot East, has partnered with Nation Media Group to increase its market visibility.
NMG will be the official media partner for PIVOT East 2013 competition through its N-Soko Jobs website (jobs.n-soko.com), which lists thousands of career opportunities in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Tanzania.
“This partnership will increase PIVOT East’s visibility via our market leading digital and traditional media platforms including our web and mobile sites, social media profiles and print properties prior and during the event” said Agastee Khante, General Manager, Nation Digital Division.
NMG has a massive reach of millions every day across its media properties making them an ideal partner for PIVOT East.
“Through our media partnership with NMG, we hope to ensure that everyone in East Africa is aware of our exciting mobile startups competition and conference which has attracted some of the most promising young businesses in East Africa,” PIVOTEast’s Producer, Moses Kemibaro, said.
PIVOT East is scheduled to take place at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala, Uganda, on the 25th & 26th June 2013 where 25 finalists will pitch their mobile startups to win in one of five mobile apps categories.
