Love and the Zodiac

I hope I don’t lose part of my audience with this, but as someone who believes astrology has a good percentage to do with our makeup, I cannot talk about relationships week after week and not mention how it comes into play.

A brief definition, astrology is a pseudoscience that claims to divine information about human affairs and terrestrial events by studying the movements and relative positions of celestial objects. It uses the calendrical system to predict events, seasonal shifts and interpret celestial cycles as signs of divine communication.

I know for many the zodiac calendar goes against what you believe, so why would you pay attention to it and for an even bigger number, you just dismiss it because someone said it was nonsense, you are a skeptic or your very born-again aunt said it was evil. But contrary to what you may believe, ignorance is not bliss. So, I am going to use this opportunity to educate you all a little bit on what your different star signs are as lovers. If you do not know your star sign ,type your birthday into a search bar and find it, I’m sure you will be able to relate to some of what I tell you here. A lot of occurrences in the zodiac cannot be simply brought down to sheer coincidence, a lot of what is predicted or said about character is completely factual.

It is also important to note that the zodiac signs factor in compatibility, certain star signs are not meant to be romantically involved with other star signs they do not gel well with each and this might be the reason why some of you are having trouble in your relationships.

The Zodiac calendar is classified by elements Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius), Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn), Fire signs (Sagittarius, Aries, Leo) and Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) there are many other technicalities I could get into here but I will leave that to you as homework to do your research.

I will start with Earth signs, they are generally more cautious and traditional when it comes to love, the perfect example of people who really care about their partners without being overwhelming or overbearing. Although they tend to be a little blunt and straightforward which can come off as mean but they generally mean no harm. They are careful, decisive and extremely patient and as such, you never have to worry about impulse if that is not what you desire in a relationship.

Fire signs are FIRE, but the good kind. You’ve been burned a little but they are so irresistible you don’t mind going and getting burned a little more. They will never hesitate to make the first move.They have a unique spark about them, when they walk into a room, vocal or not, you are going to notice them. They can impress even the least impressionable person. They are extremely independent, so you never have to worry about them being clingy or not having something besides your relationship to fill their time, people born under the fire element are sensual, wise, down-to-earth and always optimistic.

Air signs are more adaptable, they will conform to what the situation at hand requires of them and that includes love and relationships. These signs have the power of persuasion, which you can look at as either a good or bad thing, dependent on the situation and what they are persuading you to do.

They are usually helping their partners (and others generally) to develop intellectually, which is something I find so commendable in a lover, if you are not helping me in that department, I feel like I have very little use for you.

Just like the element they are born under, water signs usually fall and love deeply, most times to a fault. They love with their hearts and don’t hold back. Reading about them they may sound intense but being loved entirely is an experience I think everyone should have. That being said, a relationship with a water sign is one that will not leave you wanting for more, you are met with such intensity that when it’s done, you are looking to cool down a little.

So, what is your sign, and in which element do you fall?
