Looking for a balcony chair?

At the end of a long work day or perhaps at the weekend when you simply want to sit at the balcony and breathe in some of that good fresh air, a balcony chair comes in handy. The trick, however, is in choosing the right one.
My neighbour of three years moved house last month. He was a good neighbour, but what I liked most about him was his outdoor chair. I borrowed that chair every weekend to hang out at the balcony deep into the night gazing at stars and listening to the traffic on the busy road just next to our shared compound. All was bliss until he moved and took his chair with him.
Now that there’s no chair to borrow, I can either wait to see if whoever ends up being my new neighbour will have a chair I can borrow or well, just buy one. I decided to do the latter. I asked around and found some interesting options.

Joseph Leo Felix, a store manager and interior designer at Danube Home, a furniture store reveals that plastic is a good option because then the chair can be left outdoors with no fear of it being destroyed by harsh weather.
I visited some showrooms in Kampala City centre and found that a bamboo leg and fabric seat foldable chair, imported from China, costs Shs400, 000 but a replica of this could cost you Shs75,000
There’s also an option of chairs with plastic legs and a foldable fabric that costs about Shs210, 000.
A second hand, UK imported metal and fabric camping foldable chair costs Shs90, 000 and a foldable recliner chair costs Shs150, 000.
I also found out that a foldable chair with steel (powder coated) legs and plastic bases goes for Shs750, 000 with its whole set of two foldable chairs and table.
The above options are quite good but I think I have opted for a cloth foldable chair which costs 120,000. I found this online. It looks a lot like my former neighbour’s chair.
