Alien Skin gets bail, ordered not to leave Uganda

Musician Patrick Mulwana, alias Alien Skin who was earlier remanded on charges of theft of an iPhone 15 Pro, Shs480,000 and assault of three Nsambya hospital staff has been granted bail. Mulwana was granted a cash bail of Shs1 million while each of his sureties was bonded at Shs5 million not cash.
His private bodyguard, Julius Mugabi, with whom he's accused of committing the offences has also been released.
The Sitya Danger singer was ordered not to leave court until the case is heard and concluded. However, he can always seek court's permission to travel.
Mulwana was arrested on November 20 and arraigned before Makindye Chief Magistrate’s Court where he was charged with robbery contrary to section 266 and 267 (1) (A) of Penal Code Act, Cap 128 before he was remanded.

According to the charge sheet, a copy of which this publication has seen, Mulwana robbed a one Salim Mubiru of his iPhone 15 valued at Shs3.5 million, Shs480,000 cash and a wallet containing a national ID in Makindye Division in the Kampala District on September 28, 2024.
On November 25, he was produced in Makindye Chief Magistrate’s Court alongside his bodyguard and slapped with new charges of causing grievous harm against the staff of St. Francis Hospital Nsambya.
The two pleaded not guilty to the charges.
According to the charge sheet, Mulwana, Mugabi and others still at large on November 19, 2024 at St Francis Hospital Nsambya, Makindye Division in Kampala District unlawfully caused grievous harm to Dr Zaidi Matovu and two security guards; Alex Odongo and Anthony Munyanda.
Mulwana is separately accused of robbing a one Salim Mubiru of his iPhone Pro 15 valued at Shs3.5 million, Shs480,000 cash and a wallet containing a national ID in Makindye Division in Kampala District on September 28,2024.
He is also accused of using violence during the said robbery.
