Uganda exports 400kg of marijuana to Germany

Individuals and companies seeking to grow or export marijuana for medical purposes are required to present minimum capital of $5m (Shs18.3b) and a bank guarantee of Shs4b. Investors are also required to present a tax clearance certificate lists of employees and their job descriptions.

Uganda last week exported 400 kilogrammes of medical marijuana to Germany, the fourth delivery to foreign countries since the government permitted the business.
