What you need to know:

QC Mbarara have not won back-to-back games this season but had to dig themselves from a deep hole to secure a sweet win over Crown, who have lost twice since they were knocked off the top of the table last week.

QC Mbarara put their troubles aside as they scored three times in the second half to come from behind to beat Crown Lubiri 3-2.

QC Mbarara have not won back-to-back games this season but had to dig themselves from a deep hole to secure a sweet win over Crown, who have lost twice since they were knocked off the top of the table last week.

Crown took a 2-0 lead against QC Mbarara but dropped the guard in the second half with Arafat Ssentongo scoring as early as the second minute of the restart. Four minutes later, Gibran Nduhukire added another before Vincent Abigaba sealed the win with five minutes to play.

Newly-appointed coach Charles Ssebowa was excited with the fighting spirit.

“We played with confidence, courage and hunger. We have a strong team but they should start winning important games," Ssebowa said.

It was another evening where Crown's quality and depth was cast into spotlight.

Reflecting on the heartbreaking result, Rijaal Dahir, the captain of Crown, insisted they felt confident against a tough set of upcoming opponents.

“We know we have to do things better but I have faith that our way will be successful. We will keep fighting to win games,” Rijaal said.

Elsewhere, Michael Abura’s brace was enough for Park to continue their title push with a 3-0 win over Kisenyi.

After a goalless first half, Abasi Muluya gave Park the lead in the tense game on 28 minutes with Abura quickly adding the others in the 33rd and 34th minute.
