Gaddafi, Arua Hill share points in four-goal thriller

Arua Hill lost the opportunity to go clear of the Elgon Group settling for a thrilling 2-all draw with 10-man Gaddafi at Barifa Stadium in Arua. 
Mark Bamukyaye cancelled Caesar Okhuti’s opener before speedy winger Frank Mulimi was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 63rd minute.

Former Express forward Alfred Leku put Arua Hill ahead but conceding in stoppage time to Ronald Bithum meant they are joint top with Kataka on 12 points. In the eastern derby, Blacks Power from Bukedea stunned home side Mbale Heroes 1-0 with the winning goal coming in the ninth minute.

Proline took the lead through a Brian Umony penalty after he was fouled in the box. They wanted a kill the game off but failed only to be stunned by a Ronald Owiny equalizer in the 88th minute.

Ndejje dominated the second half. They had held on for most of the first surviving a one on one Hakim Kiwanuka chance. Skipper Noordin Bunjo was denied too and Umony missed a seemingly easy tap-in. Tooro United are five points clear of the Rwenzori Group after beating Luweero United 3-0 away at Kasana Stadium.

At Kakyeka, Kigezi HomeBoyz left it late to get a 1-1 draw against Tiles and Terrazzo. Kigezi, who had missed a penalty, converted the second to earn a point but both sides are still limping at the bottom. Action continues today as Nyamityobora play Water at Kakyeka in a rescheduled game.
