New FWSL trophy visits NMG

NMG managing director Susan Nsibirwa, flanked by the company’s human resource manager Alice Nankya, received the trophy presented by Fufa vice president Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi on Thursday morning.
Fufa have unveiled a new trophy to mark the 10th season of the topflight national women’s league.
For the visibility rendered to the Fufa Women Super League (FWSL), Fufa thought it wise that Nation Media Group (NMG) would be the first stop for the new piece of artwork as it embarks on a countrywide tour.
NMG managing director Susan Nsibirwa, flanked by the company’s human resource manager Alice Nankya, received the trophy presented by Fufa vice president Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi on Thursday morning.
Hon. Nakiwala doubles as Fufa’s head of competitions and was she was flanked on the trip by her deputy in the department Rogers Mulindwa, previous winners of the competition; Krusum Namutebi from Kawempe Muslim (2023/2024), Amina Nakato of She Corporate (2022), and Zaina Namuleme who won it in 2022/23 with Kampala Queens and now plays for Makerere University.
