Apac farmers protest cattle acquisition practices

Local leaders and farmers living around Maruzi Government Ranch under the National Agriculture Research Organization in Apac District have voiced their frustration regarding the acquisition of cattle from the farm. They say that only the rich and powerful are given priority in purchasing animals from the farm. Kenneth Omona, the State Minister for Northern Uganda, stated that the issue is being reviewed and appropriate action will be taken.
