Political Party leaders in the country are urging the government to end electoral violence, in a bid to avoid a low voter turnout in the forthcoming general elections. In a meeting with the Equal Opportunities Commission, the secretaries general and other electoral officials in the various political parties called on the government to end its deployment of heavily armed security personnel during electoral campaigns.
