Hailstorm destroys houses, food gardens in Mpungwe village

A hailstorm that hit Mpungwe village in Jinja district has destroyed houses and crop gardens. Several residents fled from their houses as the rain came down heavily and the wind blew the roofs off. The village leaders have asked the area member of parliament for help.
