Hoima airport works resume as entities reach deal

SBC Uganda Ltd, a company contracted to work on Hoima International Airport Kabaale has resumed works after a resolution in talks between the Ministry of Works and Transport and the firm. The two entities disagreed over the cost of the remaining scope of works, leading to a halt in road works. The Airport works which are at 90% completion point, are expected to be handed over to the government in June this year.
