KATWE SALT LAKES: Floods threaten salt miners’ livelihoods

Katwe Salt Lake in Katwe Town Council, Kasese district has flooded leaving the salt miners with losses after their salt pans were destroyed. The leaders say the pans flooded following a heavy downpour in the area.
