The National Resistance Movement (NRM) party leadership has formally challenged the National Electoral Commission to improve its efforts in voter registration. This comes as the party announced a significant milestone—19.8 million registered voters listed in its Yellow Book.

While unveiling its election roadmap, NRM officials defended the figures, attributing their success to a robust and decentralized registration system that reached down to the village level.
