NTV LIVING HISTORY: Aggrey Awori, a veteran politician and olympian

Former Samia Bugle North MP Aggrey Awori was once a strong UPC politician, who was critical of President Yoweri Museveni’s NRM regime for many. Awori worked in different capacities, with all of Uganda's post-independence governments except Idi Amin’s. He represented Samia Bugwe North from the Constituency Assembly days in the 1990s until 2006 when he lost his Parliamentary seat. The former Presidential contestant died July 5, 2021
